Well, a lot of games are announced at least a year before they are released, so I'm not necessarily hoping for a November title to be announced at E3, but just to know that they are developing something 'good' for possibly the next year; I don't think most games that have at least 2 years get announced within 6 months of release. Ever since that Kinect game showed up, I've predicted, in the best case scenario, that they may give the usual title an extra year, since as far as we know in theory they have fulfilled the contract requirements with the Kinect title.
The key word is 'announce'. As I've already said, if anything is planned for next year instead of this one, then we'll be told of it this year. If not, then I think it'd be safe to give up and not expect anything.
