Well, a lot of games are announced at least a year before they are released, so I'm not necessarily hoping for a November title to be announced at E3, but just to know that they are developing something 'good' for possibly the next year; I don't think most games that have at least 2 years get announced within 6 months of release. Ever since that Kinect game showed up, I've predicted, in the best case scenario, that they may give the usual title an extra year, since as far as we know in theory they have fulfilled the contract requirements with the Kinect title.

The key word is 'announce'. As I've already said, if anything is planned for next year instead of this one, then we'll be told of it this year. If not, then I think it'd be safe to give up and not expect anything.

Well the next gen game consoles are probably going to be released in 2013 time, so maybe if they don't have any plans to release a DB game in that year, it could be they're prepping for getting used to the new tech and software that they'll be making their next games on for the next several years?

I believe you should perhaps consider drinking a glass of warm delicious milk and then taking a relaxing nap. Nobody likes a grumpy person. And if you're a hormonal teenager; do you think three years is enough time for you to get happy?

If nothing is announced at E3 or the Japan Expo for next year, people really need to stop thinking that a game is in the works for next year. I trust Spike as far as I can throw their collective employment.

Even if they do, it's not like it's gonna be good. They keep trying failed policies for the last 3 years. It's not like they're going to get a game engine right if they spend two years to do it. For all we know, if a game is being developed for two years, it could just ultimate-supremo-story mode with UT's game engine.

You know what, you may aswel scratch anything I said about that site and E3. Despite the way it's written infers it is moreorless fact, it seems to be nothing but what the writer 'thinks' will happen. He writes "What can I say but “this sucks”. I was really hoping for a sequel to finally come out! But not all hope is lost. The good news is that E3 2012 from June 5-8 will have Namco Bandai revealing their next Dragon Ball Z console title for this year."
Later in the comments section, however, he goes on to say in a response to someone "That said, I'm sure at E3 next month Namco Bandai WILL announce what the next console DBZ game is".

Yeah, sorry for the false info, I guess I allowed myself to be fooled; there was no 'good news', the person simply drew that statement from his own personal feeling and expectation. If I had an account on this site I'd be in my right mind to tell him how misleading and unprofessional his article is, even if the prediction turns out to be correct.

Well at least the Kinect game is only $40 and not the standard full price $60

Do you think we get to see Dragon Ball Z for Kinect in action on the Microsoft conference, which is Monday?
Makes me curious, I just might watch the conference if that's the case, just to see the potential hilarity of someone playing the game on stage.

I can't wait until the next game. UT was a complete bust.

Not nearly a complete bust, you can't place it on a pedestal/pillar or anything really...

Whatever you want to call it, it's the first DBZ game I'm not even slightly interested in trying.

I don't blame you. It's the only Dragonball Z game I've ever complained about and been mad at myself for buying. I'd call it a complete and utter failure.
