Not to mention you could use that argument for almost any game.
While that's true, 4 years can in fact be a difference, when the jump is from 12 to 16 for example. The mindset is very different I'd think. When you're about that young I'd expect that the expectations people have aren't that high or as thoughtful, and that Tenkaichi could likely easily pass for someone (despite some cases like the first T which was obviously terrible to anyone; the consensus I gather anyway). If I look at myself, back a few years I don't think I'd have cared much or be thinking into things as I am now. It may just be likely to getting into forums and looking at things from another view point (moving from expecting good games to knowing the name of the producer and critiscising them), but yeah.

You are correct but not completely, I don't really think Sparking Meteor is broken, I have no idea to be honest, aside from some small stuff like Syn Shenron having a ridiculous ultimate and Dragon Ball characters being generally pointless, with exceptions of course (hence 'generally').
The mechanics are just really annoying to me. I've accepted I will never get over the fact that everything can do a Z-Counter2 at the most random moments while I can't and that the game has so many cool moves and yet almost nothing is practical, not even against the CPU. The defensive part of that game just bugs me.
What you basically just said is why it is broken. ZCounter and what Mystic said. I havent played the game in years though so my memory is limited, I lost it somehow, I think I lent it and never got it back (like all my other previous gen DBZ games). So personally I don't really know much about the game.

I don't really see how we would need a reboot for that, it's a huge improvement for sure but this could be done in a hypothetical Raging Blast 3, weren't it for the fact that the Raging Blast brand is probably dead, to put it bluntly.
You don't think that dramatic changes like these would completely alter the way the game plays and still be the same game (series)? It wouldn't. And plus it wouldn't work as a sequel because in my ideal world each character would have it's own set of moves and unique properties, which wouldn't be able to be incorporated into a hundred character's. They would have to cut back a load, whilst the gameplay being dramatically changed, so hypothetically it wouldn't really be a sequel. Who would call a game with a reduction in characters a sequel? The fanboys surely wouldn't and start moaning, very much how people did about the "Ultimate" in the title of this years game.

Plus I think it would be clever to hype it with a new title and big, hype, saying "bs bs" but actually meaning it this time. Seeing as they always claim something spectacular every year (UT- "new era" -psst)...

When things get older, people will probably get bored of it after a while
Very true. It also doesn't help when the games aren't as high quality as someone would like. Especially when there's such a big market and other things to do.

Not even a chance? Not even if they did significantly improve the game?
    Fine, that's your choice.
If there is a sequel (and I have no idea how likely it is) though, I'll keep an eye on it. Dreaming about how much better something could be isn't bad, but in the end, I 'feel more productive' (weird way to put it) by working with the tools I have, in that case it would be Ultimate Blast 2.
Well, I've probably got about another year of being dissapointed left before I completely quit on it all, but, as you've likely seen me say, if things aren't much better next year, I'm giving up and leaving. I'll probably just laugh it off, could troll a few fools who "think" it's gonna turn out alright (as I used to), but once that's done it'll be the end.
I no longer "dream" about how good it could be, I did that enough last year, filing suggestion after suggestion into a cabinet of overloaded junk mail, just like so many other morons with this and that and their "dream character list" probably written [by others] for the thousandth time. Instead a few months ago I formed a group on Facebook with others from here and was/are trying to get my demands across to those whom listen. I don't know if you were active in that period when we started that thing, but that's a couple of us have been doing. I'd say we've made progress, as Tony Shoupinou, seemingly in charge of the DB community, has acknowledged us, and conversated quite a few times now. I think we'll have some impact on how things turn out; he's hinted so anyway about something "hardcore", whatever that means..

So, I guess I've been productive. But I know you don't mean like that. Theoretically working with something that's already there like RB or UT is more productive, however I won't accept it.

What makes you say that, if I may ask? Is it something personal, like growing older or going to college and being afraid of not having enough time for gaming?
Besides, I believe most people here think the games would benefit from a longer development cycle.
What FriezaSoldier likely means is that he's had enough of dissapointments for this many years. My thoughts exactly. That's why I won't give UT2 a chance, I've had enough. I'd rather a good game was released while I'm still relatively young, and when I likely have more time on my hands. Enough of "good- but could be better" games. How many years will it take?

I have said it too many times, but i think that a sequel made after the first game's gameplay system wouldn't work so well if gimmicks and surplus stuff wasn't allowed. There are only so many characters you could theoretically add that actually did stuff in the Manga/Anime/TV specials/Movies that it leaves some of the others out in the cold, so to speak.

Hatchiyack could never be added since all of his attack animations in RB2 isn't allowed nor could any "thought up" attack animations of his "thought up" style be used. Rather all you would have left is the VHS Ova, and that frankly isn't a whole lot to go for. This also goes for other characters, like Goku False Super Saiyan. Cool character form but impossible to add since we hardly saw any fight cinematics except tackles, hand-smashes, leap-kicks and Ki-blasts.
