Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 Limited Edition Abilities

Hi
Was wondering if anyone could tell me what the extra abilities are that are included with the additional costumes of the limited edition of Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2? As it costs quite a bit more than the standard game and I'm not bothered about the artwork all I care for are the extra abilities it apparently includes for a couple characters. Is it worth it?

There is no US release for RB2 as a limited edition - the limited edition is for EUROPE ONLY.

The contents of the limited edition include:

• A numbered laser cell character artwork of Goku
• Specially designed pop-up 3D packaging
• Scratchcards that allow players to download exclusive special costumes for Piccolo, Broly, Android #17, Android #18, Bardock, Krillin, Yamcha and Turles. These constumes not only give a different look to characters, but also endow them with brand new all-powerful abilities.

I'm not sure, but I think these costumes are unlockable through normal gameplay - the "exclusive" stuff was done more like SoulCalibur 4... It just unlocked the content at the beginning of the game rather than having to play through it to get the content unlocked.

I'm from the UK anyway. I read somewhere that the costumes can't be unlocked in galaxy mode. Can't seem to find info anywhere to understand what it means by some characters getting new abilities with limited edition.

These new abilities aren't really special. Don't expect any new supers or ultimates.

Some of these abilities are for example 1HKOing every character (unless they have the damage cap item equipped) with 1 super or ultimate, standard ki blasts doing an absurd amount of damage or sigs consuming zero ki.
They are more for fun if anything. They are also banned from online play unless the rules specify it.
There's no way to get these characters now, they were probably supposed to be DLC eventually but the plans were scratched.

There's an alternative though. If you complete a battle zone with a character, you'll get an enhanced version of said character. It's not as over-the-top as the abilities I described but it's still something to mess around with.
Not everybody will get an enhanced character though, there are 14 characters that won't get a version.
The only character I'm 100 % sure about is Goku, don't ask me about the other 13.

Nobody ever uploaded images of the CE alternates, there were actually a lot of rumblings about none of the codes working

Day 1 they didn't work. Didn't hit the PlayStation Store until the following week.
