Pokemon Disscusion: Hoenm sucks!!!

R/S/E definitely were my least favourite pokémon games. D/P also weren't that greatÂ*(Platinum was really good though). I still enjoyed the games very much though.

Nothing will beat R/B/Y and G/S/C for me, I'm pretty sure of that.

Really curious how B/W will turn out.

I have to kinda disagree, true, story wasn't as good as r/b/g/y/g/s/c/fr/lg/d/p/hg/ss (hasn't played platinum yet) but it doesn't sucks in my opinion. it had some good points during story that other games didn't have.

Hoenn was good, every region has been good and somewhat different from the last. My personal favourite is Kanto however. My favourite Pokemon game to date is Pokemon Soul Silver.

But in the PokémonÂ*series the story is as basic as it gets and sometimesÂ*feels like it's non-existant. To me the series is purely a gameplay experience.

I hated Sinnoh's design and felt that the games based around it were boring though I object to the Hoen hate.

But why do you think it's the worst region? You don't really give an explanation about that.

For me the worst would have to be the Kanto half of the original version of Gold and Silver. They stripped out so much of the region to fit it into the cartrage it isn't even funny

Thankfully they fixed most of that for Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Hoenn is pretty darn good, especially in Emerald. It's biggest flaw is that it had a few too many water routes but it made up for that in the sheer diversity of it's locations and the fact that despite being one region it was a larger land mass then both regions in Gold and Silver put together.

Sinnoh is pretty good as well, I loved getting my own resort in the post game and being able to get decorations for it and having gym leaders visit you and stuff.
