LSSJ Broly(Movie 8) vs FP Perfect Cell

The so called Legendary Super Saiyan vs The Ultimate Android.

The rules.

Both are in character.

Super Perfect Form is locked for Cell.

Power Weighted Form is allowed.

Broly's auto ki regen is allowed.

Cell's regen is allowed.

They fight to the death.

Stage is Cell games.

I argue for FP Cell.

The only argument I can think for Broly is what his LSSJ form does. It bulks him up without sacrificing his speed, in a way he could be around USSJ2 Trunks' level.

My argument for Cell is that his speed will be is greatest asset. Like Bojack I believe Broly in Movie 8 is comparable to FP Perfect Cell even if he is slightly stronger based on LSSJ Broly's performance his power advantage is almost non existent. LSSJ Broly has shown no higher level of speed whereas Cell's speed has risen at least 3 times. Once against Goku & twice against Gohan.

Cell can score more hits on Broly & Broly will not be able to tank them as their BPs are more or least equal. Cell's regen will save him from Broly's charged ki attacks where as attacks like Cell's SBC, ki discs & super kamehameha will wear out Broly's body. Broly must also take time to expell the excess ki when his power rises to its max.

In the end Cell's proficiency in melee, his numerous techniques, greater speed & regen will edge him out a win.

That is true. Since their PLs are roughly equal Broly won't be able to tank Cell's attacks and Cell's Regen and access to multiple techniques does give him an advantage.

Broly's trump card would be the attack he used to destroy the little people's planet. He charged that attack relatively fast.

Cell's only known planet buster is the super kamehameha which takes a considerable amount of time to power up.

If Broly does use his attack, Cell may have to risk tanking it or letting the planet explode however this may lead to Cell's advantage as he can survive in space due to Freeza's cells, Broly being a saiyan(almost identical to a human being) cannot.

Cell probably has access to Frieza's planet buster moves as well so I'm not sure about that.

I overlooked those. Remember though Frieza's death balls didn't have amazing charge speed though they where indeed faster than a SK. So it would seem Cell would be able to match Broly's ki blast.

This fight would be interesting because Broly's caveman style of fighting would be useless as Cell's BP would allow him to counter Broly at every step.

I'm throwing my vote in for Broly. Cell, while still much stronger than Goku or Gohan, was still taking damage from their attacks. If it wasn't for his regeneration he would have been killed by goku's SK something that Broly tanked at point blank range. Cell would put up a better fight than the "Z fighters" did, but I'm giving the fight to Broly.

Cell was purposely holding back his power when he fought Goku, I'm sure that if he used his full power, he would've tanked it as well. And you're also comparing a SK that Goku put all of his power into vs a generic one that Goku can probably fire multiple times.

Except that all happened to Cell before he powered up to his maximum. Same FPSSJ Goku who could not beat him nearly soiled his baggy pants. & Cell powered up to be crushed by a much MUCH more powerful version of Gohan.

See where FPSSJ Gohan was stronger than Goku he still wasn't stronger than Cell. Also take into account that the Gohan that Broly beat on was the weakest one there. He got taken out first.

Had Cell used his full power he'd have crushed everyone in the same manner as Broly did. Based on everyone's reactions except SSJ2 Gohan of course.

Cell just has more tools than Broly. All Broly has is his BP. Cell has a similar BP more speed, more melee skill(which will play a factor when BPs are even), more techniques & regen.

Broly too a Full power SK head on with no scratches at Goku at FULL power.He Lost to them when they were WEAK and shared their WEAKENED energy and 1 punch beat him.

However I don't think Broly gets tired very fast even after beat downs and huge blasts. He might have more stamina then Cell but not the speed.

I vote on Cell, he is just a lot more intelligent then Broly ever could be.

The reason I put my vote in for Broly is because LDV has them fighting in character. Cell, in every fight he participated in, scaled his power so as to have a close to even fight with whoever he was battling. Which is what he would do against Broly as well. Meaning Broly would be able to cause damage to him. Broly has been shown to be able to launch devastating energy attacks without having to power up first, and Cell's energy has been show to drop after regenerating from powerful energy attacks. Advantage Broly.

Now, out of character, Broly would get effed up in short order.

Yet when Cell realized that SSJ2 Gohan was making a moron out of him he got serious & went FP before any serious damage was inflicted.

& let me say this. Energy disc = a very dead Broly.

As for Broly tanking that SK, a suppressed P.Cell took that, Cell going to his max nearly made Goku make skid marks.

Broly gets no tank effect due to the close BPs. P.Cell has been shown to get decent speed boosts each time he raises his power. Broly has shown no such feats. Broly = bloody mess.

Even more broken. Broly destroys the planet they fight on. Cell manages to evade some of the evasion thus using regen to recover. Cell survives in the vacuum of space...Broly = suffocated.

Broly is just not winning.

*sigh* SSJ2 Kid Gohan is all that's needed to beat Cell. The others would make no difference. Numbers have never really worked in DBZ if the opponent is much stronger. & its only Vegeta who helped Gohan, the others coming in was all filler.

Except Broly still lost....except that Cell was stated to be holding back against the Z warriors. Cell made a tournament to amuse himself. At ANY time he could have killed them all in a similar or more brutal fashion. & had Gohan gone SSJ2 against Broly in Movie 8....dead Broly.
