Does anyone have Burst Limit? Remember how it looked when you transformed?
THAT’S how Raging Blast 2 needs to look. Or something LIKE that.

We need yelling, we need the dust swirling around, and I want to literally SEE the hair stand up, RATHER than a new cut scene showing the finished transformation. And if you recall, you could even hear the wind! I LOVED THAT.

If anyone knows how to do a quick transformation in RB1, (not the typical long one) then you know it should look something like that except we need to see the character from the front, rather than the back. Add in the above mentioned effects, and viola: we have a nice looking transformation.
Burst Limit did this extremely well and I’d like to see them incorporate some of the good that came from an otherwise not-so-great game.
(Remember the gut punches in Burst Limit? Those nice, tight close-up’s? Need more of that too)

And yes, I KNOW that both games were handled by different companies. Doesn’t mean you can’t USE some of those ideas!!

My other suggestion is this: Make it so if you get hit hard enough, you transform BACK to your normal state requiring you to gather Ki in order to transform once again. Wasn’t it like this is Budokai 3??

Lastly, and completely unrelated: GET RID OF WILD SENSE, AIS, etc.
Or at the very least, add the blast stocks again so that these are not constantly abused, such as they are now in Raging Blast. Too many people HIDE behind these defensive aids rather than LEARNING manual defense.

I’m an A++ rank, and while this does not matter, I point this out because I’m not one of the crappy players who complains about Wild Sense and has no idea how to get around it. I can counter Wild Sense just fine. It is simply annoying to do so as those matches often turn out to be spam festivals pretty quick.

The Burst Limit transformations looked the same (each character always had the same smirk, same posture, same wind, etc).Â* So I disagree, but they should improve upon that and give everyone their own level of power and facial expression.

I highly disagree with Blast Stocks and the removal of WS/AIS/AI.Â* The only one that's annoying is AIS with Vegito/Videl because they both have a rush they can do right after and that's the only thing that makes AIS cheap over the others.Â* Blast Stocks made the game feel unnatrual (especially with power ups and transformations, the same goes for the switch gauge).Â* And as you said you can get around WS easy.Â* Even with a spamfest it's easy to pay attention to peoples Ki so all you have to do is just wait for your moment, sidestep (or super) and then get off a free attack/combo.Â* All you need is patients and you'll get around AI, AIS, and WS easier than you can now.

Idk why you guys argue to keep AIS, wild sense, etc. They bring NOTHING to the gameplay and most people don't know how to counter them. They should just be removed completely so we don't have to deal with the annoyance.

It just makes the game bland a bit (they do bring some fun to the game) if you remove them.Â* It's something we've had since BT1 and in RB1 you could Sidestep/counter them (making them useless pretty much) so no need to get them out.Â* Let the players suffer by doing something that'll bring harm to them and if a player can't counter it, it gives them the opportunity to train and get better at the game.

I think they should get rid of Wild Sense and buff the Z-counter, get rid of Afterimage and make an easy vanish that consumes a good amount of Ki and they should get rid of Afterimage strike.

Sounds pretty good to me, but perhaps instead of opening the Z counter window it allows you to counter attack after you vanish (with more Ki usage)

My only issue with that is that counter attacks never seemed to work well, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have it in, though I'm not sure about the greater ki usage.

Like ur ideas Quest Rider. Although I'd opt for more unique transformations. Imo they need to be like the show. Not 10 minutes long...but they made Frieza's first two transformations look great and skimped on everyone elses.Â* SS3 should be JUST like the show just shortened. SS2 goku's transformation was way better in the show. In rb it doesn't look or feel as good.

Â*

For the ws and afterimage thing I agree with the others. They should be apart of normal gameplay but cost ALOT of energy. Imo they should be basic...but hard to do.

Â*

Like how come we can't teleport more freely? Like why can't I super rise teleport or super teleport to the left or right? I feel like Spike DOESN'T get dbz at all. Some elements are good and other are severly broken.Â* Ki blasts should be like mini grenades....instead they are used to lengthen combos which is annoying as heck because people LOVE to spam ki blasts.

Â*

I liked budokai 3's teleport and ki system better. I think teleporting cost to little energy and so do super attacks in general. I think the stronger the super the more energy it should cost.

Â*

Imo we need counter strikes like tenkaichi 3 had but closer to the anime. Like if I dodge backward I can counter with a strike and then my opponent can block and strike back...like a melee exchange.

I think Freiza_Soldier had a similar idea and I think that would be
cool, at the very least, it would bring back the blow exchange from
BT1-BT3.

Never say that something in RB 2 should look like what already exists lol :P

I do agree it should look much more true to the show and intense but i dont want to see something i already saw hundreds of times =)

Start off like above: No Goofy yellow Backgrounds, keep the backgrounds the same as where you are, with rock effects.

Transformations need emotion... Enraged Emotion for the Super Sayians:

- Fix the cut scene where if I Transform in the air, I appear on the floor. BT3 was never like that.

- Shorten the length of time when doing it

(Burst Limit's was the perfect length of time)

- Yelling is a must have detail, silent transformations and charging Ki isn't what DBZ was known for, (I know the actors hate yelling but if that's the case I sure they have Audio clips from previous games..or Better clips from the show)

Why can't Spike make the transformations as detailed as Frieza's?

That is how a transformation should be like.........The Super Saiyan.

I agree. The inspiration for the current transformations must have arose while a dev was using the bathroom...
