I am Kagato. I come to you today with a topic that will help aid the developers of a possible sequel to Dragon Ball Raging Blast. The beauty of this topic is to keep any and all of your requests and suggestions into a single topic that is easily accessible and simple to keep track of. Remember, as the consumers, we have the power to voice our opinions in order for the following games in the series to reflect our wants, needs, interests, and curiosity. The developers do listen. Do not be afraid to speak out.

In this topic, I ask that everyone please share any and all suggestions and requests they have for a sequel. Please keep everything neat and organized so that everything can be understood and kept in a professional manner. That way, any suggestions you have for characters can be in one specific place, while stages have their own spot, and so on.

Game concepts what i would like to see in dragon ball rb2

no more invisible walls in the old dragon ball z hyper dimension game you
could knock your opponent in to another fighting area why cat you just
konck them to another stage or somehow end up on the the other side of the
stage and don't tell me the stages are much bigger because no matter what you
do youÂ*will allway sooner or later hit that wall and sometimes it can
mess you up and cause you to lose

characters i would like to see

cooler and all of his henchmen all of them

bojack and his henchmen zangya, gokua , bido, and bujin

turlis and all of his guys

not babidi but daburaÂ*and pui pui

and dr. wheelo 3 fighters

as for characters with giant forms how about putting them i story mode as
boss fights and have a game mode where one player can play the giant boss
character and the other plays a nominal size character but just in those
game modes

how about a new original story in story mode with a original
Â*cast of new characters maybe created by the fans in some sortof
Â*contest and maybe even a animated film based on the story that would be
Â*released before the game or around the time of theÂ* games release

@immortadogskull: Dude your going waaaaaaaay overboard XD I know its a request thread but there is no way we will see majority of that in RB2. They are going focus on the gameplay and the over all replay value. Alot of the things users have been requested should wait till RB3 when there isnt as much improvement needed.

For them to add all this to the game it wouldnt be released untill 2011 lol.
But they are good ideas dont get me wrong :o I like the idea of giant bossfights >: O Or online tag battles in real time with 2 or more ppl flying around trying to take down a massive enemy ^_^

Gameplay Elements:

ALL attacks should be done in real-time instead of having those short cutscenes before super and ultimate attacks are fired, just like goku's kamehameha is done. I don't mean that all attacks should be chargeable like that, but they should all be done in real-time, both to surprise the opponent with no cutscene to tip him off and also to give him a chance to disrupt the attack if the character does it at a bad time. That said most attacks should only take about half a second or less of animation before they fire.

maybe to you my request seems a bit much to you but after playing a string
of three budokai games and a string of slightly better tenkaiichi
games i get tired of seeing the same recurring crap that ends up in every game

i what to see some new and original and longer lasting story lines in story mode
with new original characters that are cool and fun to play not some
af junk or non interesting what if stories that don't even leave a impression
on the gamer at all the games should have something new that's ackley new not something rehashed

all though you are right about the fight engine it need to be improved above all
else and budokai tenkaichi 3 had to many stupid characters that i played about once or twice that all had the same moves

now that i think about it with 4 3D dragon ball fighters in the hole
why haven't spike the deverpers of these games made a full 3D action adventure game that would be cool and they could just concentrate on both as to seporit
things and would not have to put all of the story off dragon ball in the fighting
game

and if it takes longer to make it will be better for it
after all it takes time to make a good thing

...and some of the stages im sure other people have herd of shud b combined....like rocky stage/ cave stage...u send someone thru the floor and follow them into the cave stage and u can fly out of the cave and fly into the rocky stage freely....this 2 combined stage is kind of like the stage between goku and majin vegeta where vegeta knocks goku into a cave and then they continue there and then take their fight elsewhere....

I'll just write the same thing, the idea for multiple fighting on one stage. Online mode, you chose team 1 to 4, or to be independent. This would be a big hit, think about fighting on XBOX LIVE 4vs4vs4vs4.

I got a big idea for the game.

I thought about doing the DBZ:Shin Budokai Another Road(PSP) on XBOX360 and PS3.

BUT, it would use the idea(I'm not saying mine) of multiple fights at once, just like on the PSP, and also the thing about city protections, EVERYTHING would be in the tenkaichi fighting system, just like in RB, only more people, and city's to protect/destroy.

Now why this idea?




Looking at the stats of selling, Burst Limit has more sells than Raging Blast, it's not only that RB is new and for some people still expensive, but as for me BL showed the anime story better, and even though it has less characters, it's still better.

To say the truth, as long as they show the story of "Another Road" better than the PSP, it'll be fine.

The problem?

I think about some characters, that wouldn't be there, like Dodoria, or Zarbon, but they would happen as the fighting puppets that Babidi summons.

Of course 1 on 1 fights with no citys would be possible, this mode would be in the story and online, maybe you would be able to use for a free fight, but there would be a lot of cofiguration to be done before each fight.

Now not only thinking about the other idea, that multiple fights would be cool, but with enviroment to save, that would be a lot of fun.

What next...

I don't see anything you could say NO about with this idea, except the one I wrote above, but come to think of it, there wasn't a game on bigger consoles (PS,PS2,PS3,XBOX,X360) that showed a different story than in the anime.

And that's about it, isn't it? I hope someone from Bandai Namco gets to see this, it's not such a bad idea, isn't it? ^^

Ah, This is what you were talking about. But thy're going to need more than just what was presented in SB2. Something related to Trunks' alternate future would be nice, or a story where Saiyans were never killed by Freiza.


Google up Dragon Ball Multiverse, and you'll see what I mean. Countless ideas for a different DB Story for a DBZ game. They could have the original story but not as the "Main Attraction" for the game. It's time for change.
