Okay guys, based on everything we've seen thus far with the exception of the final roster count
what score do you predict this game will receive? From any major review sites including IGN.

Despite what some fanboys are saying if you've been keeping up with Spike games then you already
can conclude that what we are viewing is likely the final product....with the exception of some characters of course.

From everything I've observed thus far IN MY OPINION
the scores will probably go something like this..


IGN or IGNorant [which ever you prefer]: 5.5/10

does Game Informer even bother reviewing these games anymore?

Well, Most of the game reviewers, like gamespot, IGN, etc. will focus more on the fps games, like MW3 and Battlefield 3, instead of fighters and beat 'em up.

So, I never actually listen to the reviews. The best review to me, is my own opinion.

Hmm, GameSpot will probably give it a score in the 5/10-7/10 thpugh I'm thinking of a 6.0 or 6.5 since they tend to review games as whole packages. For IGN, it can go from 5.0-8.0, I haven't found any real consistency with their scores, but I think that they may inflate it so 7.0.

He isn't that stupid, he now takes into account more things regarding his score system, and don't think the current gamechanges have gone by him unnoticed. He definitely knows that this game might very well bomb. In my opinion i think his score will be somewhere around 5.5 or 6.5, maybe even less.

In all honesty, I don't really care. Journalism in general doesn't have a shred of credibility for me, it's just that bad. It's one of the few things I cannot stand and you'll have to work hard for me to even merely dislike something/somebody.

The only way his RB reviews have gotten a higher score than natural was due to personal enjoyment, nothing more and that sadly is also ignoring the persistent glitches, but then again i think it was apparent to everybody so there was no need to mention it.

Personally, it'd be nice if this game was found by a majority to be good, but then the majority said "You gave us most of what we wanted, now focus on the gameplay. Alas, with only 41 base characters, that just won't happen.

Agreed, his reviews are interesting enough to watch but he overlooks flaws as simple pencil mistakes then assumes anyyone who disagrees with him, is a broly fanboy or stupid...he also forgets that his views are soley speculative opinion or preferencial statements to taste, not fact. He tried to purpose to me that Videl is a good character...pfff not in spikes games.. his fanboys are just sad saps. He's also uninformed in certain aspects of his top 10 Attack videos to why they go a certain way.

My review prediction:
1. IGN: 6/10 (gameplay hinders it) what THEY would say: "too much to unlock" (and everything else involving the QTE.)
1. Omega2040 - 8/10 He will obviously excuse the gameplay call it a new turn that looks like the anime now which is a nice change or whatever..

i wont be suprised if this game gets a out of 5 on x-play i dont normally pay attention to the reviews but bioshock was given 5/5 it is a good game but no game is THAT good.

TBH it would be sad because the game is actually good everwhere else, its just gameplay is what all games are heavily marked on and no matter how much it has behind it. UT wont be a 10 ouside of the fanboys and butthurt babies.

It's more about the game as an overall package, the story mode is probably going to give it a good boost to prevent it from getting to the 5 range as well as the hero mode and character creator despite how half done the latter is.

I think he subscribed and then got blocked about 4 years ago for some argument that was never really properly solved. At that time Ian/Omega2040 would have been 14.

Also, the ''same story" argument will still be used. Naruto only has advantages there because its ongoing. Im sure they will find an excuse to give this game a low score anyway. Like ''Heromode was bland and dull'' or whatever.

He's biased, he tries to pass subjectivity off as objectivity. He doesn't dive in depth into games & he skims over more important aspects of the game. It always feels like he purposely does this so as not to upset his man fanboys(which happen to be die hard fans of Spike & UNS).

I much prefer Raz0rFist(Thanks MG), he usually has solid reasoning behind his beliefs & while I don't always agree he's far more entertaining.

This is by far the worst thing i have ever put my expectations on. I am so disappointed in this game and that i stood in line at midnight for it, i am on my way back to gamestop now to take it back. Garbage, everything is precanned nonsense and every move feels the same, and awful. I had such high hopes that this could be Raging Blast 2, with more characters, faster speed and better story mode, and then you teased me with character creation and blew my hopes throughj the roof and this is what you deliver? Please stop ruining DBZ games.

and before im labled as just a hater or whatever, please believe, I WANTED this game to be good, so bad that it hurt me to even play it. I baseically spent the last 8 hours waiting for something to click inside my head, and for the game to shine but it never came. Movement is clunky, attacks feels unresponsive, boss fights are brutally repetitive and tedious and its linear as hell, your kicking the crap out of nappa and in the middle it cutscenes and shows you beat and hurt and then he kills you, and while i get that dbz is a set story line, the presentation is just poor at best and you are trapped basically mashing buttons in between cutscenes.

Only interest at this moment, though the bad thing is they seem to have taken the -"SWTFU amount of times you must perform this move"- trophies. Man! I hated those trophies in those two Star Wars games, having to do Lightning Shield to kill 600 enemies is just.......extremely tedious. But i guess the most now is a total of fifty instead of that "previous" amount.

But seriously buying this used from a location known as Bullmoose for the trophies. (if you have one in your area go buy your games there it is actually cheaper I bought Arkham City used for 40 dollars). So I'll most likely pick it up for 40 dollars.

I never had a problem with that since you could always replay the first Battle Zone with every base character in the game to get their titles. There was about 67 titles you could get there. Then you could go Online and just keep at it with no fear and you'll get your Plat no prob.
