Hey. Basically the qeustion is, if you could have a dragonball z game in any other format aside from the video games, what would it be? What would it use, what would be the rules, etc.
Over anything, I loved the original dragonball z trading card game, with the personality sets and all the cards and promos. I was really disappointed with how bad the new bandai game is. It doesent really reflect the actual characters or the series very well (in my opinion).
But yes, if there would be one game to be made, it would be a revamp of the original or a better entirely new game following the series fight style, coinciding with dragonball kai for new and improved card images.
Another thing I think would make a GREAT dbz game, would be table top, with the ability to customize peices, characters and blasts using paint and modeling putty. It wouldn't be a rpg style game, so much as a real time strategy esque game. Basically, it's set a few hundred years before dbz, and all factions have different perks and numbers. Dice would determine alot of attacks as well as how you choose to attack and where. Example, you may choose to fly, so you would switch your saiyan figure with its flying counterpart for a moving or fighting stage.
Or maybe the game would revolve around cards for attacks and such?
For example, a player would get the tuffle peices, and a tuffle deck, and the cards they pull determine what they can build, what they can shoot and how they move?
If any of these we're to come about, I myself would explode with excitement and recruit everyone I know.
And this probably doesent do anything, but I hereby submit the ideas in this post to Bandai, Bandai namco and Funimation.
So, please post an idea or tweak you'd love to play or see.
