Don't u miss the conversations the characters on screen would have with the player? especially when you left the room in Bt3 and Bt2? like Nappa asking Vegeta what if he went Super saiyan and stuff. Or how they would exaggerate situations in story chapters then ask u to follow them? "Freeza's transformation was...a... NIGHTMARE :O!!!"
I think it would be cool if the villains spoke to u before each story chapter instead.

I miss that. Or how chu chi would comment on characters she never actually seen before. It was kinda nice to bring up instances from the anime into her opinion on them. (but her bias towards super saiyans gets really annoying, however I heard in japanse culture if you dyed your hair blond it meant you were in a street gang or something.)

I would like this to see things like that back as well. While I don't believe this is high on the priority list, small details like that add to the atmosphere and make the game more immersive for the player. The Raging Blast games are a bit static when it comes to menus and that slightly detracts from the joy of playing outside of combat. We shouldn't exaggerate though or it will become too childish, I don't need a character to pop up and say something every time I select something.

But the last 2 phrases is just me going off-topic.

Yes, this wont ruin the game if absent but its a small thing that brought personality to Tenkaichi and Budokai. It made it more user friendly and nostagic to the anime with them talking to you or commenting on their battles. (Thats why I liked Dragon history because it WAS goku retelling his life through your gameplay)
Raging blast 1 had a beautiful menu screen with the 3D and Shenron, RB2 went into the darkness and space nature. (which was good in some ways since DBZ is about space combat and the son on selection was really beautiful That could have used a 3D Goku in a space Suit or Freeza speaking to you.)

While I do get a good laugh from these little easter eggs, I'd say they need every bit of available memory for the important stuff. You could make menus & select screens as dry as biscuits as long as the actual game itself is awesome.

I really dont know how much space it takes but I doubt its too much if Soul calibur can do it.

I always liked Cell's Narration of his tournament: And it makes sense that he was always the final boss. It was also nice that his reactions were just like how he was in the anime.

"What a great assembly of fighters!....pfff yeah right!"

"Now...Get out here and fight!"

"This fight's going to be a struggle for supremacy!"

"Hahaha, now get angry show me your true power!"

"hehe...umm.... the finals... W-why is there so much power?!"

It was just like the show.

I could just imagine a DBZ game having some funny/bad endings like in Blazblue. Could care less in what console it could be in. :D

I miss the speaking 2d artworks from Sparking Meteor. I have to say that IMO RB1 had the best character encyclopedia out of them all. RB2 botched it up by cutting out the extra paragraphs of information and the models themselves. "Rage imminent" Still, if every menu had voice acting...it would surely take longer time to make since Funi is involved in the redubbing.
