The Roster... Assumption Game #1

It's time to play the assumption game so let's play the game based on the following:

Project Age will:
1) Keep the existing roster (including everyone's favourite Super Saiyan 3s)
2) Keep to the 'Dragonball Z' only theme of late

So now let's tackle the roster!

Who can they add?

I mean there are some obvious ones like Gokua, Bido, Bujin and Garlick Jr but who else was there in 'Z' that made enough of an impression to add to the roster?

Maybe Tapion

Some other Z characters I'd like to see but didn't play a huge role when it comes to fighting:

King Kai
Hercule

and I guess if they really wanted to push the boat out we'd see Turles', Slug's, Garlick's henchman. Not saying I'd want it but there's always a chance. The only henchman I want are the Spice Boys, Turles' squad and Bojack's. The reasons being that they all fought. Turles' crew have some nice designs and they should make the twins one character. The spice boys fought pretty well for a few episodes and Bojack's squad did quite a lot of fighting, especially Gokua.

I think they will have all series. Considering the uproar fans gave with a DBZ only game
But reseting the roster would be pointless. May as well keep RB2's roster (even though I hate all the henchmen) and simply add main characters missing out still

I agree but that's not the point of this thread, hence why the first post contains a set of assumptions.

THAT'S IT!!! Maybe what they can do is put all of the henchmen in for the Japanese version and the Important Z and GT characters for the US and Europe. (since Japan doesn't like GT that much)

Yeah but I think the reason why they were in becuase they actually did a lot of things rather than just appearing and just getting destroyed quickly. And Spice wasn't in a DBZ game before.

No. Neiz and Doore flew at Goku, got whooped and were never seen again. Turles' squad spent more time fighting the other members and actually showed off individual skills or even attacks. Android 14 and 15 got a lot of exposure but once again did nothing special. Gokua fought Trunks, transformed and subsequently died. Gokua right now is on par with 14 and 15 and those three are league above Zangya. Bido and Bujin however didn't do much but Bujin was given potential and Bido looked like a hardass. Those two are on par with Neiz and Doore.

So let's reflect:
Android 14/15 and Gokua = Easily transfered
Neiz Doore, Bido, Bujin and Zangya = Did little

How about the more obscure films?
Well there's Dr. Wheelo's henchman Kishime actually showed specific powers and pseudo-elemental control, his arms were covered in electrical cables. Also in his henchman are the Bio-men and Ebifurya who can freeze things (more elemental control).

There's Wings, Slug's henchman who fought Piccolo for at least as much as Doore and Neiz. Angila can manipulate the length of his arms. Medamatcha could create smaller versions of himself and use them to attack, he also displayed a volley and a beam. You know what? That's just one film, I could do that for every film.

All the henchman did varying amounts of things in the movies and saying that it's anything but fame among the fandom that dictates what henchman get in. The early movies have some amazing henchman but fans only really know and remember the later movies.

That's why we'll never get characters like Wings, Kishime and Cacao. Not because they did any less that Neiz or Doore. In fact I'll argue that they deserve more of a place due to the fact they're actually unique.

Yakon? Why not, I remember him fighting Goku and showing some sort of technique which made everything dark or something... I think. I honestly can't remember too much from it, but I (think) that Goku beat him with ease, just because he seems like the type of characters that just wouldn't be on par with someone like Goku.

Still, I guess I can never ever visualise mmyself actually playing as him. I mean, that would actually feel awkward, lol. (No offense Yakon)

If I'm not mistaken the spaceship, or Babidi with his magic, had the ability to "make?" places to fight. Those places can be included as new maps.

Actually, I think I would like to play as someone like him, despite his ugliness, as it would be a real change from all the other "kinda usual" looking fighters. At least they all do look kinda usual in RB2 (talking about aliens here).

He won't be that hard to impliment. They could give you a mission where you have to fight him in the dark, (But SSJ lights up a portion of the area like Flash in pokemon games) His melee would be like Baraka's in MK. And he can absorb Supers with his signature.

I think it was more teleportaion but you might be right. He would be interesting to use especially if his melee included the blades.

He was turning Super Saiyan 2 and Yakon blew up, thus how Vegeta knew Goku could achieve the form afterwards.

Using Yakon's greed to his advantage, Goku counters Yakon by powering up to an enormous extent (apparently showing Vegeta a glimpse of his Super Saiyan 2 powers, which leads him to conclude that Goku, too, has assumed the transformation in the 7-year period after the Cell Games as he did) and providing him with so much light that Yakon explodes as a result.
He peaks into Super Saiyan 2 but doesn't retain the form.

No worries man I think technically we're both right anyway. Yeah, round two of the assumption game will be up tomorrow I hope, perhaps tonight.
