Here is a list of all parameters that must be changed, improved or removed from the Raging Blast series.

IN GAME BATTLE SYSTEM:

- One gauge of energy (ki bars) to be used for all kind of specialmoves like defensive (barrier, explosive wave, etc..), offensive(rushing attacks like kaikosen, beams like kamehameha, etc...), buffing(false courage, all poses, etc..), specials (after image strike, wildsens, etc...) and signature skills, is obviously not working for tworeasons:

It leads to intense spamming. And it takes out many strategic values ofthe game. (as an example, casting afterimage strike should be moreeffective but harder to cast, to impose a new game style to the playersas soon as they are cast. The blast stocks system should return, makingit more difficult to spam defensive and special buffs.

- Some special features like the Android Barrier, or some signatureskills like the jump back move of krillin, or the pose of Cell arecompletely unbalanced and useless regarding some other signature skillswho can become a style of game. The arms of Piccolo and Buu, MaginVegeta signature combo, are completely broken, while other charactershave no tactical advantage at all. It is obvious the characters SuperAttacks should be rebalanced.

- Rush attacks are cast instantly, leading to a complete chaos oftactics. And it is also another point helping spamming. Where is theold good "roll back before a super attack" we used to in BT3. It helpedto keep the game clean.

- There is only a 1 type of Rush Special Attacks. All have a too shortrange, and are all extremely fast. A Better balance between Rushattacks should be made. Some faster but with a shorter range, and someslower but with a longer range. Difference between rush attacks willbring new strategies and tactics, which Raging Blast is already missing.

- Bugs! bugs and bugs! Gogeta's broken combo, Goku's and Gohans, Brokenblast rush combos, piccolo's 2.5 square combos are making the gameunplayable. It is possible to spam punches and blasts in the gamewithout giving any change to the opponent to do any move. (punch andblast spams are not vanishable, not defendable and not counterable. Youhave absolutely no other change than waiting for your opponent to makea mistake).

- The Beam Paradox: In Raging Blast, players usually use the Beams atclose range, and very rarely at long range. And when they use it onlong range it is generally after a few successful blast hits. The Pointis that, Beams are useless on long range, which should change. (Beamsare supposed to be long range weapons. Watch the Anime Series if youdisagree.) Make them faster, or give them a minimum sphere of trackingability (not totaly tracking, just a small sphere so that sligthlymoving to the right wouldn't give you the change to avoid the beam, pushing you to make a faster and more decisive move to avoid it atleast). As Goku vs Raditz in DBZ's first episodes for an example). InShort, find a way to bring back the long ranged beams and beamstruggles in game much more frequently.

--- to be edited ---

ONLINE FEATURES:

- The number 1 problem of raging blast, even brought up in manyofficial reviews: DISCONNECTIONS. Disconnections are so frequent thatit is not even possible to win 10 games without 8 disconnections. Getwhatever solution you can, it will be fine with anybody. Disc = Loss.Ok. Disc = 100 Loss. Ok. Do whatever you have to. Any solution will bebetter than having people disconnect all the time.

- Bug! The World tournament online freezes if the Host presses Ready, before all the players in the room Presses Ready, or if a players triesto connect while the host starts the game with some empty rooms. Fix it.

- In the chat rooms, while waiting for a tournament or a Player vsPlayer to start, hosts should be able to kick other players who aredisturbing the chat room, or the player who just joined if they dislikeit's rank.

- Voice Chat. It should be possible to mute players. (yes I know, somewill be shocked that we already can't). What were they thinking whilemaking the game?

- World Tournament features needed: Being able to watch others playwould be great. But I understand that it is not that easy. But at leastwe should be able to see some representations of the match like healthbars or else.

TEAM BATTLES

- Team battles are missing the health recover feature of the standbycharacters. Now team battles are dull and are only a sequence of 1vs1battles. What I mean is that, I play team battles to avoid thecharacter select screen of single player battles. It's a shame since Iused to play only Team Battles in BT3.

- The switch between characters should always be at the exact placewhere the previous character left. It's common sens to keep thetactical points of the battle. Again missing that, you give the teambattle the feel of a series of single player battles.

STORY MODE, CUSTOMIZATION AND UNLOCKABLES

- It's a Mess. Ok, there are many things to do, like dragon battles, challenges, story modes, etc... But it's almost impossible to have anyidea what we should do to get anything. I hate the idea that I can winitems from World Tournaments, but also from what if stories, or DragonBall Collecting. A typical path to follow would be more appreciated, instead of this total chaos. To prove my point, try to google where ucan find the items. You will get the typical World Tournament list, which is only some of the items. For the rest, no one knows.

- Decking is fun, but here again, the shapes are lousy and really notsmart. Since it's about shapes, items should have more interestingshapes giving opportunities to players to have more creative andinteresting combination of decks. All the logic decking has now is thatimportant items are huge cubes, taking a lot of place. Not reallycreative, is it?

TECHNICAL

- Most of the complaint above are "patchable" and do not need the waitof a new game to be fixed. But for some reason, games are not easilypatchable in the ps3. And so is not Raging Blast, since it is not eveninstalled in the Hardware. (I do not know about the xbox 360 versions). Now there are some games who will have (or already have) an "in game"patching system.

My advice for the next raging blast series, is this: Code the game sothat the main engine would be installed in the ps3, making itpatchable. (u can't patch the blue ray right). Keep some essentialstuff in the BR so u can still have ure piracy protection.

This will help to fix the game with some patches once in a while.Specially when facing flops like the Gogeta combo bug (infinite kickbug) for example.

-Loading times are too frequents and long. I guess Loading times wouldnot be a problem anymore if the game was partially Installed.

- GUI (User interface) take too long animations and bore and borebefore accessing the menu we try to go in. Faster GUI and animationswould be appreciated.

Ok Guys, this is all for now. I you have ideas, post them. After awhile, I will edit this thread with your posts, and than harass allforums, programmer e-mails and any other platform with this Message.

This will also be used as a petition. If you agree with all the above, just say it, and I will ad ure user name in the petition.

If you do not agree with one of the above, make clear statements, and tell exactly why and how it is not helping at all..

And again, If you agree, also precise why. Having multiple opinions would help strengthen the statements.

Xbox360 owners: Since I play on a PS3, I may have skipped some changesyou would like to see. Please feel free to add any complaint you have.

One thing i don't think yaÂ*mentioned here that needs to be changed is the camera, like i put in the other thread when you and your opponent get up against the wall you can often barely see yourself or the opponent it just becomes a mess and ends up you getting beaten down pretty bad.

next up..

THE STAGES

A lot of the stages need to be properly looked at.. for instance:

The world tournament stage is far too small and because of this one hit and your pushed into the invisible barriers at the side of the stage,.. what happens is most of your moves especially the chain supers will not work correctly and end up incomplete.. this is very frustrating and can be easily changed.

The cave stage is probably one of the worst of the lot as there is tons of walls resulting in battles where you both cannot see each other because of the camera angles.. you get so many bad angles on this stage its unreal.

Namek... the land part of this stage is pretty okay and doesn't really need a great deal of change.. its the water section that is the problem.. for starters its far too deep often resulting in you completely losing sight of your opponent and when you find him you often get some really bad camera angles from underneath there especially when you get trapped up against the walls (which happens often in my experience)

Saiyan rocky stage.. this stage wouldn't have been too bad if they had have put more land in it, as present there is far too much open space ending up you plummeting to the bottom usually ending up in some pretty frustrating matches.

It wouldnt really take a lot to put right these mistakes as some of the other stages like the city one for instance seem to play out alright.

Basically what we need on every stage is a floor. Some stages don't and it becomes frustrating as some combo's can't be pulled off.

Only thing I disagree with is Decking. I think it is really good. If you want to you can put nothing but attack boosting items on...but if you want to get smart and have lots of small advantages you will only improve your supers for example and spend the rest of your space putting on small, but effective items. You can really look at each character individually and decide which specific items would help that character....I guess I'd like the space to be slightly increased though so we can put a little more customization in though.

Another thing that would REALLY increase replayability and depth in the game is a level up system like what was in Budokai 3. Leave in the decking and also ability to choose your ultimates and supers, but ALSO let us level up through fighting tournament mode, story mode, super battle trial, and online. It's really fun seeing your character become more powerful the more you fight and it would be fun to challenge people online of higher level than you...but we would have to have a choice of using our leveled up characters or using characters with base stats to make things fair.

Another thing I want to address is that Ultimate attacks need to be choosable as well. We finally have multiple super attacks to choose from but no ultimate attacks (aside from Goku's mulitple spirit bombs, if those even count). Scouter Vegeta's possible Ultimate attacks could be the Galic Gun he used on Goku, the move that killed Cui, the move that killed Zarbon, the rush and finishing blast he used on Recome, OR the blast he fired at Frieza that he already has in Raging Blast 1. See, all characters can have options like that and this way we can really create a character how we want them. If Vegeta doesn't want to use the move that killed Zarbon as his ultimate, then perhaps he could have a lesser version of that attack as a super attack as well.

Also the armor should probably be removed because it's very hard to fight against it and is annoying to put armour break on each character to prevent it, thus reducing your potential customization. I would rather they put the wall abilities ON certain characters (such as lss Broly, Nappa, or any other big or slow character that may deserve it). Seems like that would both benefit those characters and remove the annoyance of fighting a bardock with armour on.

The stages is another good point. 4 things that I think could use improvement in that area....

1) The camera needs to adjust completely vertical if our opponent is below us. Attacks also need to be able to be fired straight down or up. It's pretty ridiculous that we fire straight up or down, so this would both fix the camera and a neglected gameplay mechanic.
2) Camera needs to stop getting stuck behind obstacles and hindering our view.
3) There needs to be more destructablility. The plains stage and the Kais planet have a ground that can be shattered, but the other stages don't. Give all stages something like that, perhaps the city could be broken through to reveal sewers or a subway system? It would also be cool if it were possibly to stick characters into the ground, just like when we stick them in the wall.
4) All stages need a ground. Those bottomless stages are really annoying. The only place that shouldn't have a ground is somewhere like fighting in space. World Tournament stage also needs to be wider, so we can fly over the stands and fight...perhaps even the seats could be destructable(like when majin vegeta blew up those people), but the people will quickly flee the stands right before it happens of course.

I agree with everything in this thread pretty much and if it is listened to the next game will really be great. I love Raging Blast, but it definately has some serious flaws. Thankfully they can be fixed in the sequal.

Feel free to edit in any ideas you like to your first post Topic Creater.

I like what all of you have previously stated. I'd like to see at least ONE DB game with aÂ*completelyÂ*new story line for a change. Not saying im sick of the games now (Just Now?If I was sick of them I woulda stopped playing these games a many many years ago!).

I agree Weatherby, shooting beams/blasts directly up or down would be great, and so is changing the camera angle vertical when an enemy is below or above you.Â*

Topic creator, making beams slightly home in on enemies and increasing speed would be nice, because they really areÂ*supposed to be usedÂ*for long range, and they're not to effective long-rangeÂ*without comboing someone into it, like a charge attack.
