Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butoden

For those of you who may not already know, one of the two next Dragon Ball game coming out next year will be Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butoden for the DS.

The game was revealed to be a 3D fighter and as IGN reports (http://ds.ign.com/articles/113/1136135p1.html), that Jump states that the combat will be, in a sense - nerfed. As you don't have to press anything and the character will still dodge minor attacks. You may want to take the Japanese street date shown, to February 3. Plus, just recently the official website (http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/ds_dragonball_kai/) went online.

Seeing as this bears the word Butoden in the title, could this be a resurrection of the Super Butoden series of yore? I would venture as to yes, but we'll never know for sure until a developer or two confirms it.

Any thoughts?

Well, if you haven't seen the PV!

It works like this:

-You can buy an especific type of custome (Eg: Hats,swords,caps,armor,etc) then you select a character an customize it with any costume you want.

Also there are scenes in the story mode like DB:Origins 2;

-Saiyan,Frieza,Cell and Buu Saga Scenes

-What if scenes!

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you about the what if that I saw, what if like:

That sounds a little on par with Super Dragon Ball Z. In that game you could customise their stats and some characters, like Trunks, outwardly appearance would be altered some. Like the sword would change to a large katana or CC lightsaber.

I don't think so to be honest. Or maybe later, when the English Kai has advanced a bit more.

The handhelds sure have some neat DBZ-games, Attack of The Saiyans, Shin Budokai and this game + TTT look pretty good.

Well even thought the 3ds is coming out don't forget that the Gameboy advance still got some pretty good games for itself AFTER the DS came out for up to about a good year or so.

Will it come? I don't know but it's not too late yet anyhow

Wasn't it teased in the game? I think I saw a picture of Frieza after I finished the game with something along the lines of "In the next episode..."

But the game didn't sell very well, extremely unfortunate, it's one of the better DBZ games IMO.
