Obviously disconnectors are annoying. But besides giving them a loss and taking away points from them, their really is nothing they can do about them. They will always be around, sadly.

And lol Malv sure likes talking about the disconnectors (Looks at RB gamefaq's boards) xD

what do you suggest they do? I admit It is a pain and a problem, but there is nothing they can do but give them a loss and take points from them. I doubt they would go so far as to ban them.

Well yeah i want them to take there points but not only like 20 points I am talking about 100 to 200 points and if it happen a lot just take 10% more each time..

I'd be completely happy if they just made it give the disconector a loss, and me a win. It would make the outcome matter less in that regard, and (hopefully) make it more about the fun.

Not bad. That's pretty smart actually. But If theyÂ*end up doing that, iÂ*doubt they will take 100-200 points every time they d\c. It will probably start out as 50 points, and if they d\c again, it will be 5% more, then 10% more, and so on.

It seems to me that there's no real way to avoid them, as they appear in every online fighting game. Whenever I encounter one I just jot their name down and avoid further encounters. I just wish they'd realize that this is just a game. Being on the top means nothing if you cheated your way there.

Yeah there is a disconnectors list in Gfaqs which people are getting add it.The issue is that it is a lot of people doing it...

As I not have the experience yet on xbox live at the moment, since my gold membership has expired, and I just purchased xbox live gold membership from a site I always purchase it from, but anyhow... so I will probably get online either tonight or in a few weeks. But I do remember the old disconnectors on the Wii in Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and it looks like it's still happening.

I also urge Bandai Namco to really do something about it, as it really is annoying. Some in the ranking have fought honestly, but this won't last. Just take a look at the region's rankings, most of the top 10 consists of people who always disconnect when they feared losing. And it gets annoying as they obviously won't disconnect if they were winning. But will when they are losing.

For this, it might be a good idea to get some punishment for disconnecting the match. Let's see about double the amount of points you would've lost if you just lost naturally. Is it possible for something to hold it against that account if they were in a fight and lost disconnections? That if they come back online a message appears: "You were in a fight when you disconnected, for this <X> points are taken away from you. Please fix your internet before trying to fight again to avoid repeating".

A point-loss for a natural disconnect where you have nothing to do with it, is then easier fixed, but using the disconnect-feature to just avoid losing is suicide in the end.

It isn't just those who disconnect either. It's those who play as Kid Buu, SSJ2 Teen Gohan and spam attacks. Wished it was the same with SvR2009, when they disconnect they get replaced by a computer so it makes it even more easy to get a win.

The disconnectors should lose points but the people who are still playing shouldn't gain any. If they did, people would abuse it and it'd makeÂ* winsÂ*a lotÂ*easier for those cheats who use 2 ps3's.

99 people already? And I thought my personal list had too many rage quitters (12 people in a few days).

I agree with Krillin on this:

And if he/she disconnects when fighting me, I would just want the points I would have gotten if my opponent stayed.

Yes...I don't play ranked matches anymore thanks to people like that, so I really hope they do something soon.

man most of disconnectors are A++ wild sense/AIS spammers and even if you found a plan to beat those spams they will quit in the end so they wont lose points i wish the next game developers will make who ever DC will lose automatic -100 points!!!!!!!!

I disagree completely, I used to think that was the best solution, however if they make it like that, then people who use more than one PS3 will exploit it and rank up with ease.

You won't find that problem much on the Xbox 360 since not many people would spend extra money for another Xbox LIVE subscription, but there will be people who do, or friends helping each other out.

I believe if someone quits a match, they should be given 2 losses instead of one and the person left doesn't gain anything.

Also if they create a more advanced player stats page within the game, it can display all of the losses and disconnets the user has had, so people who usually disconnect do not want their stats to get messy, well if they value their stats they will take the loss they are getting or recieve two for the price of one for being a coward.

What if someone uses a rush super over and over and over in a match every single time you get up? How do you NOT d/c on a person like this? Why shouldn't you?
Furthermore, if your opponent is using cheap tactics the entire time (such as spamming w/s or ais), then what about the match is "fair" to begin with?
If someone plays cheap, I d/c EVERY SINGLE TIME.

When you fight me, you have to EARN the win.
I have NO problem taking a loss. No problem at all.
But if someone is just going to spam the entire time, then I don't even view these matches as fights nor do I consider my opponents: "opponents". I consider them spam masters and a waste of my time.

Most of these people don't even want to fight. They just want to slap the stick to the right 5 times in a match and try to super rush you every chance they can get...OR they hang back in the distance using wild sense ALL day. Cowards.

I will continue to d/c on people who fight like this in RB2.

If I take the upper hand in battle against a spammer, do I really think that this person WON'T D/C on me? I put that to the test countless times before I started to d/c...and guess what happened? The spammer d/c'd everytime... thus spammer=d/c'er IF they are about to lose.
I do things different. I end the match IMMEDIATELY as soon as the spam fest begins.
There is a HUGE difference.

I will continue to d/c on injustice in my one man fight against spam.

I have a tendency to check the profile of the player and more often than not, I find out they only completed about 2 story sagas at most. Those are never good players. There might be an exception out there but I've yet to see one.

I've had about the same mindset as you had at one point. But I've come to the conclusion that only in RTS people in pubs can be honorable gamers. And even in those games there will be cheapskates and douchebags. Many gamers who take it seriously will exploit the system if it means having a good W/L or K/D, faster ranking or whatever. It's something you cannot avoid.

That's about as good as it gets when you wanna play Raging Blast competitively. I figure there are quite some skilled people over there. Maybe try Gamefaqs? But if you're looking for truly competitive battles, pubs are not the way to go.

I put that to the test countless times before I started to d/c...and guess what happened? The spammer d/c'd everytime... thus spammer=d/c'er IF they are about to lose. Not in my experience I'm afraid, guess I'm lucky since your theory does make sense.

I do things different. I end the match IMMEDIATELY as soon as the spam fest begins.
There is a HUGE difference. That sounds like a waste of a match to me but suit yourself. I'm not in any position to tell you what to do like I already said. I'm just giving my opinion on the matter.
I will continue to d/c on injustice in my one man fight against spam. While I find that admirable, I think you're making things more annoying for yourself. People online will always be assholes, especially when the penalty system is flawed. Like in this game.

I know about disconnectors in this game but even if you lose to cheaters & quitters, you be like them if you did the same thing. My cousin & I alway play Raging blast most of the time. I never disconnect on anyone even to cheaters & dcers. At least I could do is this, if you don't want a player who fight you & repeatly cheats till you lose, then block them. When I block them, They can't get in my room because it's prohibited as long as I didn't unblock them.

There are most american like me are experts. Any peopleÂ*who are Gods, aren't god. I don't care about there dumb Big ego is gonna make me battle against them. I always Owned them. It feels like it's been getting worse. I've been stuck at the same rank for months because almost every single person leaves when I am winning.
It's becoming very irritating.Â*

Also with spammers.. I don't really have an issue with them anymore. I'm getting good at avoiding them. I rarely lose to anyone now but as said above, I'm stuck at C+ rank 'cause I can't seem to get any points.

It seems everyone here is arguing together about people disconnecting... Well my XBOX Live GT is OZee Grassman and if anyones down to fight, I don't disconnect, though unlike the other guy in here i'll admit to my faults, I do spam sometimes... and reason being is, i'm not THAT good, I use Wild Sense and stuff, but i'm trying to work on not using it as much, only problem is theres only so many combos in this game that eventually you're going to be repeating them at least twice in a match so rush attacks are essential for me, either way my point is you all should start fighting each other instead of talking of how much you dislike d/c'ers and to the guy who d/c to spammers, I've never left a match once and I used to spam a **** load more then I do now, not that i'm bragging or anything lol i'm just saying it doesn't make you any better than them. I'm also not sure as to why you d\c right when you see a hint of spamming, give people the benefit of the doubt... This game is so... Generic in a way that in EVERY match i've played whether it was me or the opponent, there was spams at one point, or at least what "looked" to be spams... It doesn't mean the gamepace won't change, it might just be coincidence the person your fighting hits that combo, it doesn't mean they're relying on it and planning to spam it the whole time... Also, any tips for being less reliant on Wild Sense and Afterimage will definitely be appreciated. I'm just getting the hang of cancels now...

I admit It is a pain and a problem, but there is nothing they can do but give them a loss and take points from them. I doubt they would go so far as to ban them.
