I feel that Dragon Ball/Z manga is very important to the world. It produced the anime ofcourse, and many animes such as Naruto and One Piece were essentially made in homage to Dragon Ball

we got to give props to akira toriyama for his influence in this extrordinary anime, but i think we should've hung him for permitting funimation productions continue the Dragonball legacy into another state. the manga is the most important piece of artwork there is nothing else can be said

:D! I liked the Dragon Ball Manga even thought I read it a few times it was really funny xD in some parts haha and very graphic in others O.O

Dude, the only DBZ manga I read was the one my friends at school had. Back then, I thought it was so stupid and poorly drawn... Then I started reading Naruto manga, didn't think it was any better, and that's why I prefer anime! xD

Are you saying that funimation ruined it by dubbing it or by making it an anime? Because funimation only dubbed the anime into english, Toei made the anime.

one was the change in the language and production. DB was meant to b graphic and due to the violence of the show they almost canceled its airing in the United states. they had to recreat it in a way that it wouldnt show blood nor gore. ex:krillin gettin spiked by freeza...that episode only showed freeza pierce him and fling him to the water wen in the real episode freeza shook him up quite a bit lol.

funimation and toei productions are technically the same company in animation and what happened was that they forced a third saga without manuscript thus making DBGT and its poor outcome. akira toriyama stated it himself "i never expected Dragonball to pass from Z" it ended there for him thats why he never made a DBGT Manga.

I love the Dragon Ball manga. It's really funny in alot of parts.
